You cannot change the desktop wallpaper, unless you pay an extra $80 to upgrade to Windows 7 Home Premium. Rating: 1 / 5

The Netbook I love! The OS is cheap. . . We Will upgrade from the Windows 7 Starter Edition, Should have been at least a higher addition! Still a great net book! Rating: 4 / 5

Windows 7 Starter has some features locked, including changing the wallpaper. So if you like to customize your desktop, you’ll want to upgrade to the Home version. The netbook itself is very nice, although I haven’t yet had much time to test it. I charged it last night (took about five hours). Today I’m testing the ‘nine’ hour battery life. I’ll update you on that. . . Rating: 4 / 5

I just received this computer. It connected to the internet easily and seems to be working fine. Windows 7 starter seems adequate. Based on CNET and Consumer Reports reviews, I expect the battery to last for 6. 5-7 hours, which is very good. I have two complaints. First, the mouse tends to latch onto objects and won’t release when the mouse button is released. I have to press the escape button three or for times to get it to release. My second complaint is the mouse buttons are noisy. They make an audible click every time the buttons are pressed. The buttons on my Dell lap top are completely silent. I did not even think about this potential problem when I chose this unit. I assume most people will not care about this issue, but for me it’s very annoying. Rating: 3 / 5
