VGA connector is too close to the edge of the card bracket for many VGA cable connectors to fit. Rating: 2 / 5

this videocard was purchased for dual monitor display so I can watch netflix on a 42in. hdtv. the videocard does not have fan for cooling but I noticed no heat build up so no fan meant no noise. I did have some problems with setup disc but went to ATI web site and downloaded it with no problems. this is not a videocard for gaming but I didnt get it for that purpose. this videocard is real easy to install and easy to setup. with good instructions that you get online from ATI. I will recommend this videocard to buy to anybody who wants to setup dual display. Rating: 4 / 5

It works well for the HP media player PC that it is being used in. It runs hot, but there is not really a fan cooler with it so I had to mod one for it and it works. So, all is well. Rating: 4 / 5

Well, I am reviewing my second purchase of this card, as the first one arrived faulty (and I couldn’t exchange it). This is a very good graphics card with audio capabilities (7. 1 LPCM for your blu-ray needs) if you are planning on building an HTPC. This is not a gamer’s card at all, way too underpowered for that. But for a HTPC this is perfect: can process PIP streams under Blu-Ray with 7. 1 audio with pure passive cooling (so no distracting fan noises when you are watching a movie).

Be aware though: as is the case with many HDMI video cards, it presents several HDCP (damn you, Hollywood) incompatibilities, so be prepared for some fussing around drivers, settings and even hdcp-compliant hdmi cables to make sure it will work.
