This is a fast, quiet, and capable computer — a steal for the price. In addition to the features advertised, the unit unlatches and unfolds to an open position, making cleaning easy (dust being always the enemy of cool operation). The OS is Windows XP Professional, which allowed me to avoid the uncertainties of the new and unfamiliar (to me) Vista system. The unit was rather amateurishly packed. And no Windows disk was included, making it unclear to me as to how I might resolve an OS problem. If not for those issues, I would have given it five stars. Rating: 4 / 5

This is the second Dell Optiplex that I have purchased in the last 12 months and I am very happy with both of them. They are fast, reliable, and easy to use. The windows Xp operating system that came pre-installed on both of them was a big factor in my purchase. The DVD burner is quick and I have yet to experience any problems with either of them. These are great desktops for the money.

I bought the computer but it arrived with damages as it is not proyecting the video tape. These are the specifications: FAST DELL OPTIPLEX GX280 DESKTOP P4 2. 8GHZ 3GB 320GB DVDRW XP PROFESSIONAL SP3 OFFICE. I live in Costa Rica and I need to know what would be the process to claim for guarantee. Rating: 1 / 5
