DO NOT WASTE YOUR MONEY ON ANY ACER PRODUCT. I BOUGHT THE ASPIRE ONE FOR MY WIFE’S BIRTHDAY,THE SCREEN WENT IN TWO MONTHS. HAD TO PAY MYSELF TO SHIP IT BACK FOR REPAIR,THEY CALLED AND SAID THIS WAS NOT COVERED BY THE WARRANTY,AFTER ONLY TWO MONTHS. I WILL NEVER BUY A ACER PRODUCT AGAIN. THEY ARE JUNK AND THEIR CUSTOMER SERVICE IS AWFUL,EVERYONE I SPOKE TO COULD BARELY SPEAK ENGLISH. VERY CHEAP PRODUCT,SPEND THE EXTRA AND GET A DELL,YOU WON’T BE SORRY. I HAVE A DELL AND HAVE NO COMPLAINTS.

There is a paucity of documentation with this computer. I also purchased a 2GB Ram, planning toinstall it myself, but there is no information provided to guide me. This is very disappointing! It makes me question the wisdom of making a purchaseon-line rather than at a local store which could offer technical support. The computer itself is quite satisfactory, althoughI’m having trouble getting used to the touchpad. Acer sent me their windows 7 update. Installed it per their instructions. Now window will not start. Acer doesn’t include a recovery disk. Now it wants me to buy one from them. Will be taking them to small claims court. Rating: 1 / 5

Just got this today- haven’t used it yet but right off I’m very upset that the battery sticks way out- is NOT AT ALL like the picture. It is round and increases the thickness of the netbook to well over an inch. The only way it could possible look like the photos is if they had a cover that went over the battery compartment when the battery was not attached. After having a regular laptop with a battery that sticks way out and gets caught on everything, definitely not psyched about this and especially the misleading and WRONG photos. Rating: 2 / 5

I ordered this netbook on 18/Dec/08 and got it before Christmas. At 50. 00 off and free shipping the speed of the Amazon elf was appreciated.

When I looked at the available space on the hard drive, I was shocked to find only 191Gb was available. Not the 250Gb as advertised for this model.

When I connected to the internet, Microsoft needed to download thirty some items that they believe I need. Which they could have included and saved me over an hour.

Then the “Nag ware” started. Guess I’m not protected from the internet so pay or get spammed or phished. You are going to need hard drive space (since we have already stolen 20% of what you purchased) at 2Gb for free and pay for more.

Looking at the “updates” it seems to me that they are for higher forms of Windows 7 and MS Office. Maybe Microsoft is storing Windows 7 flavors and MS Office in my hard drive Maybe that is the reason I was cheated on the hard drive.

This product should be sold as including a 190G HD and Nagware.
